Collaborating for impactful leadership change
INFINZ and the Financial Services Council (FSC), including FSC’s Empower Women initiative, are collaborating to drive positive change for women in the finance sector.
Their new series, “Empower & Elevate: Women in Finance”, aims to foster inclusive leadership and address key challenges faced by women in the industry.
“We are optimistic that this effort will empower women and unite a community of leaders eager to drive significant change,” INFINZ executive director Jim McElwain (pictured above left) said.

Series focuses on leadership, inclusivity
The three-part event series will kick off with “Inspiring Success” on Nov.7, focusing on what good leadership looks like, with practical advice and stories from successful women in finance.
The second and third events in 2025 will address organizational change and male allyship in fostering inclusivity.
“The effectiveness of a collaborative approach has long been identified to drive sector change,” said FSC acting CEO Haydee Stroud (pictured above right).
Building on empowerment initiatives
This series builds on FSC’s successful It Starts With Action campaign.
“We are excited to move beyond dialogue to foster real and impactful change in our industry,” said Tracey Cross, chair of FSC’s empower women working group.
The partnership aims to create a robust platform for discussion, learning, and concrete actions to elevate women’s leadership in finance.
