Pip Maxwell, senior product manager for home lending at Kiwibank, said the offer makes settling in a little easier for home buyers.
“We last did this offer in June, which proved to be popular with customers, so this cash offer is back to continue helping more Kiwi achieve their homeownership goals,” Maxwell said. “As living costs continue to rise, it’s great to put money back in the pockets of Kiwi who are either buying a home or may be using our refinance package to switch over.”
The NZ bank said it has also added two new interactive digital home loan tools to its suite of home loan calculators, giving customers a total of four tools to support them on their home buying journey.
Kiwibank’s Next home calculator and Borrow home calculator will help customers understand what’s involved in different scenarios they’re considering.
