Liberty boosts adviser support

Liberty Group, a financial services company operating across Australia and New Zealand, has appointed Olga Nicholson as a new underwriter, further boosting its adviser support team.

With nearly a decade of experience in banking across the UK and New Zealand, including roles at NatWest and Barclays, Nicholson brings valuable expertise and a passion for problem-solving to her new position.

Nicholson excited to collaborate with advisers

Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Nicholson said: “The thing that I look forward to the most is collaboration with advisers and utilising my skills and knowledge to find the best solution for clients, while delivering world-class customer service.”

She stressed her attraction to Liberty’s “great culture” and her dedication to finding creative solutions in a challenging economic environment.

Liberty reinforces commitment to adviser community

Liberty CEO Aaron Skilton highlighted the significance of Nicholson’s appointment, especially as other lenders retreat from the non-bank sector.

“We are thrilled to welcome Olga and bolster our adviser support with her extensive experience and wonderful reputation,” Skilton said, reaffirming Liberty’s commitment to providing superior service and supporting advisers.

Liberty continues to expand and innovate

Liberty general manager Igor Stychinsky echoed the positive impact of Nicholson’s addition to the team.

“Our team continues to grow, and with this most recent appointment, we have never been better positioned to deliver exceptional service and free-thinking solutions for more customers,” Stychinsky said.

Prior to this development, Liberty, which recently secured an upgraded credit rating from S&P Global, appointed Grant Parker as BDM for Wellington and mid-lower North Island in May.
