Liberty has strengthened its adviser support by appointing Grant Parker (pictured above) as business development manager for Wellington and the mid-lower North Island.

Grant Parker’s background

Parker has nearly 15 years of experience in business development and relationship management.

His extensive background in the private and public sectors, along with his passion for helping others grow, has helped him build a large network within the financial services industry.

“Culture and communication are essential elements for success in any profession,” Parker said. “I look forward to using my strengths in these areas to connect with advisers, better understand their business and goals, and help them grow.”

Liberty’s confidence and growth

Liberty CEO Aaron Skilton emphasised the significance of Parker’s appointment.

“We are thrilled to welcome Grant and bolster our adviser support with his extensive experience and community standing,” Skilton said. “Liberty’s continued investment in growing our dedicated and local presence for advisers signifies our unwavering commitment to the mortgage industry.”

Enhanced service and solutions

Liberty general manager Igor Stychinsky highlighted the value Parker brings to the team.

“Our business development team continues to grow, and with this most recent appointment, we have never been better positioned to deliver exceptional service and free-thinking solutions for more customers,” Stychinsky said.

Parker expressed his alignment with Liberty's reputation for problem-solving and innovation.

“I have a very analytical mind and love the challenge of finding the right solution,” he said.

Parker’s appointment followed that of Michelle Kinilau, the new BDM for South Island.
