Jacob Sun appointed as BDM at First Mortgage Trust Auckland
First Mortgage Trust (FMT) has appointed Jacob Sun (pictured above) as BDM in Auckland.
This move is part of FMT's strategy to bolster its regional presence and service capabilities in a key market.
Jacob Sun’s role and background
Sun brings more than 15 years of experience from the banking sector, including a recent role as associate director at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
“Jacob’s strong track record in banking and his skill in fostering relationships make him an excellent addition to our team,” said Phil Bennett, head of lending at FMT. “His insights will be invaluable as we continue to provide top-tier service to our advisers, borrowers, and investors.”

Sun expressed his enthusiasm about his new position.

His appointment comes on the heels of Deborah O'Connor joining as investment relationship manager in Christchurch.
