Key name will be responsible for advisory relationships
Asset manager group, Nikko AM NZ has announced the appointment of Sam Bryden as its new senior relationship manager at its New Zealand office, based in Auckland.
Bryden has a wealth of experience in the financial markets spanning 13 years, and will join Nikko AM NZ from Aegis as head of relationships. Prior to this, he was head of business development at ASB Securities and has also worked for Westpac, BNZ and Dexia Bank.
In his new role, Bryden will be responsible for managing and growing the firm’s advisory relationships.
“As we continue to grow our client base and distribution reach, Sam’s experience and network will be beneficial in helping to support our advisor relationships and capitalise on our growth momentum,” Nikko AM NZ head of distribution James Wesley said.
Nikko AM NZ currently manages investments for corporate superannuation schemes, community and charitable trusts, foundations, financial planners, banks, insurance companies, KiwiSaver Schemes, corporations, other fund managers and retail investors.
