26 outstanding female mortgage professionals chosen
The low proportion of women compared to men in the mortgage finance industry means celebrating the achievements of female advisers is crucial.
That’s why NZ Adviser proudly presents its Elite Women 2022 list, which recognises and honours exceptional female leaders working in various roles who have demonstrated a clear passion for the mortgage industry.
It’s estimated that just 23.5% of authorised financial advisers in New Zealand are female – compared to 52% of lawyers and 40% of chartered accounts.
Following on from NZ Adviser’s Women in Mortgage and Finance New Zealand event in 2021, the Elite Women 2022 awards are another way of acknowledging high-performing advisers and hopefully inspiring more women to embark on a career in financial services.
After sifting through all the nominations and recommendations from manager and industry leaders, the final Elite Women 2022 list was narrowed down to 26 women.
Among those named were Elyce Peters (The Mortgage Girls); Laura Carter (The Mortgage Girls); Connie Wang (Prosperity Advisers); Ella Dromgool (Catalyst Financial); Kelly Brough (Link Financial Group); Linda Eagleton (Loan Market) and Divya Gandhi (Fundmaster).
