TAP hosts conference celebrating innovation

The Adviser Platform (TAP) held its third annual conference at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron in Auckland, attracting around 200 attendees from across the insurance, KiwiSaver, and lending sectors.

The full-day event highlighted industry advancements, introduced new tools, and honoured top-performing advice providers with the TAP Awards.

New technology unveiled to enhance client experience

A major highlight was the launch of myTAPapp, a digital tool introduced by Mike Taylor, TAP’s head of tech and development.

Designed to improve adviser efficiency and elevate client experience, myTAPapp underscores TAP’s dedication to providing advisers with advanced technology for better client outcomes.

Inspiring talks on leadership and resilience

Prominent speakers inspired attendees with insights and personal stories. Naomi Ballantyne, TAP Group chairperson, shared lessons from her career journey.

Aaron Gilmore, AIA regional sales manager, discussed resilience and initiating positive change, while media coach Jason Gunn introduced his “HEART” method for powerful storytelling to connect with clients.

TAP awards honour top performers in client service

The event concluded with the TAP Awards, celebrating excellence in client service, compliance, and business management.

This year’s winners included Total Life, Alt Mortgage Consultants, and Properli, among others.

Ryan Edwards (pictured above), TAP’s managing director, expressed pride in the winners’ achievements.

“These awards are a testament to the calibre of our members and their commitment to delivering exceptional advice and service,” Edwards said.

Looking to the future of advising

Reflecting on the conference, Edwards commended the speakers for their valuable insights and the members for their dedication.

“It was an excellent day, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to our speakers for delivering powerful messages on leadership, resilience, and client service,” Edwards said.

Edwards emphasised TAP’s support for member growth, innovation, and making a positive industry impact.

TAP recently offered its CRM system free of charge to advisers.
