Celebrating women in finance

Finsure Group launched its second Women in Finsure initiative in New Zealand, aimed at promoting equality, opportunity, diversity, and inclusion within the adviser industry.
The initiative coincides with the celebration of Women’s Month in March, with female advisers from Properli gathered for a networking lunch at the Hilton Hotel in Auckland on Feb. 27 to celebrate women in the New Zealand financial industry.
The event provided a platform for advisers to share their stories and experiences, while Finsure representatives outlined future plans to support and mentor women in the industry.
"What better way to celebrate International Women's Day than lunch with our wonderful 'Women in Finsure!'" said country manager Jenny Campbell via LinkedIn. "This initiative is more than just lovely lunches – we are aiming at supporting scholarships and mentoring women looking to enter our industry, and of course, to uplift and support the wonderful women already doing the mahi."
Campbell acknowledged the support from Adrienne Begbie at Prospa, along with Finsure's Noushig Megerditchian and Fatima Dib.
Finsure Group recognized Campbell for her contributions to the group over the past two years, noting her crucial role in launching and growing the company's network in New Zealand. Her work has been notably driven by a commitment to supporting mortgage advisers and helping hardworking Kiwis achieve their financial goals.
The Women in Finsure initiative first launched in May 2024 with a sold-out event at Auckland's Soul Bar. This trans-Tasman aggregation business has established the platform to address gender disparities in the financial services sector and create more opportunities for female advisers.
The program builds on Finsure's commitment to developing a more diverse and inclusive adviser community across New Zealand.
