Mark Hewitt

Mark Hewitt 40 years of experience in financial services, including the last 15 years with AFG. He took up his current role as general manager of industry and partnership development in 2019, after serving 13 years as general manager of broker distribution and residential. He is also co-chair of Combined Industry Forum (CIF), formed by the mortgage broking industry in 2017 to take action on governance and remuneration practices to achieve better consumer outcomes. This experienced industry leader has worked in a diverse range of management fields including operations, communications, relationship management, credit management, asset finance, human resources, and distribution. Before joining AFG in 2006, he spent time working at ANZ in its third party distribution area where he developed his deep understanding of the broker industry. His final role at ANZ was as national manager for key broker relationships. Hewitt holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Charles Sturt University.
