Named Westpac Broker of the Year at the 2020 Australian Mortgage Awards, Mhairi MacLeod, principal and founder of Astute Ability Group, is passionate about diving deep into customers’ needs and educating them about diverse finance options. Armed with two decades of industry experience and knowledge, coupled with her open mind and resourceful attitude, she is always responsive to the changing financial landscape, is eager to build strong and lasting customer relationships, and loves to solve challenging problems to achieve optimal results for everybody. MacLeod also strongly believes in giving back. She’s the brains behind the Young Entrepreneurs Program, which mentors and inspires disadvantaged kids. MacLeod is also chairman of The Giving Forecast, member of CAFBA, principal and owner of Astute Connexion, and panel member of Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia’s (MFAA) national equipment and commercial finance forum as well as opportunities for women. MacLeod holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Adelaide, and has a Diploma of Financial Services from Intellitrain.
