Broker Conveyancing launches new property assessment products

Conveyancing distributor Broker Conveyancing has announced the launch of two new products for adviser users in partnership with chartered surveyor The Moving Portal.

Advisers can now offer clients a Homebuyers Report Level 2, which provides a detailed assessment of a property’s condition, including a professional valuation. According to Broker Conveyancing, this product is intended for advisers with clients who require comprehensive insights into a property before deciding to buy.

The distributor is also introducing access to a Structural Engineers’ Report, which delivers an in-depth analysis of a property’s structural integrity, identifying any potential issues that could impact the property’s safety and value.

These new products are available to Broker Conveyancing users through its latest collaboration with The Moving Portal, building on a partnership established previously. The Moving Portal operates a national panel of RICS Chartered Surveyors across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The panel takes instructions from mortgage advisers, independent financial advisers (IFAs), estate agents, and solicitors for various RICS survey reports and valuations.

Registered Broker Conveyancing users can now incorporate these additional products into their service offerings. As with conveyancing advice, advisers can select their own referral fees, potentially generating additional income for their firms.

“Part of the growing business focus for advisory firms is around how they broaden their product offering, ensuring clients are able to access the vast range of products and services through them, rather than having to go elsewhere,” said Mark Tosetti (pictured), chief executive of Broker Conveyancing.

“Being that one-stop shop, whether it is for the mortgage, protection, insurance, conveyancing, surveys, reports and the like, allows firms to ensure the client gets what they want and need, allows the adviser to improve their business generation and income, and also fulfils many of the regulatory aspects that now come with Consumer Duty.

“We’re pleased once again to be working with The Moving Portal to offer these new products to our adviser users.”
