It follows a growth in activity of remortgages
Broker Conveyancing has launched a new fixed price remortgage product, in partnership with conveyancing firm ONP Solicitors.
The new product offers an all-inclusive fixed price of £245, including VAT, and provides introducing brokers with a £70 referral fee.
The pricing covers several services, including an ID fee, the first telegraphic transfer fee, two bankruptcy checks, official document copies, a Land Registry final search fee, search indemnity cover, a Land Registry fee of up to £30, and legal fees.
According to Broker Conveyancing, its long-standing relationship with ONP and its commitment to offering remortgage borrowers affordable legal representation were key factors in the development of the product. It added that the product is aimed at customers who prefer not to use fees-assisted remortgage options.
The launch follows Broker Conveyancing’s recent announcement of a 4% rise in remortgage conveyancing instructions from brokers in August, compared to July. The company attributed the product’s release to growing remortgage demand driven by falling mortgage rates and renewed interest from borrowers in securing better deals.
“As we’ve seen in recent months, there has been a growth in activity in the remortgage space, and we fully expect this to continue through the rest of 2024 with October likely to be a high point in terms of maturing mortgages,” said Mark Tosetti (pictured left), chief executive of Broker Conveyancing. “This is why we are very pleased to be launching this new exclusive, fixed price remortgage product with ONP.”
Sharon Beedham (pictured right), head of partner relationships at ONP, added: “As a key strategic partner to Broker Conveyancing, the launch of this product, exclusively fulfilled by our experienced and dedicated Broker Conveyancing remortgage team, further demonstrates our joint commitment to providing brokers and clients with access to a market-leading remortgage service.”
