conveybuddy appoints head of operations

Conveyancing distributor conveybuddy has announced the appointment of Amy Innes (pictured) as its new Head of Operations.

Innes joins the firm with extensive experience in intermediary distribution, most recently serving as panel manager at iPlace Global, where she developed strategies for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer propositions. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade at Broker Conveyancing as a senior account manager, building strong relationships with mortgage advisers and conveyancers.

“It’s great to be working with Amy again after all this time,” said Harpal Singh, chief executive at conveybuddy. “Also, it’s quite a coup to take on a head of ops who completely understands where we fit in the food chain and what’s important to brokers.

“Amy’s excellent relationship management skills and experience will help us gain valuable insight into exactly what intermediaries want, and how to engage with top class conveyancers.”

Commenting on her appointment, Innes expressed her enthusiasm for joining the team.

“I am thrilled to join the team at conveybuddy and to work alongside Harpal and John again,” she said. “Once I saw the platform, the pricing and the panel, it didn’t take me long to say yes. I know brokers are going to love it.

“I believe my skillset aligns perfectly with the company vision, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.”

conveybuddy recently launched a new conveyancing portal, offering technology that the company says enables significant cost savings for customers. The firm differentiates itself from other panel management services by not taking a large share of fees and providing full transparency of costs at the quotation stage.

The company’s product range includes services such as surveys and an all-inclusive remortgage package, which covers all disbursements and offers a fixed referral fee. Referral fees are paid the week after exchange on purchases and after completion on remortgages.
