It promises cost-cutting, transparent conveyancing
conveybuddy has introduced a new conveyancing portal, offering advanced technology aimed at reducing costs for customers.
The firm said the new portal distinguishes itself by avoiding high panel fees, providing transparency in pricing, and allowing introducers to select the best providers for their clients.
Unlike traditional conveyancing panel management services, conveybuddy does not take a substantial portion of fees, ensuring cost savings are passed directly to customers. The platform offers introducers a customised quoting tool to help choose the most suitable conveyancing services at competitive prices.
The service range includes various products, such as surveys and an “all-inclusive remortgage” package that covers all disbursements with a fixed referral fee. Referral fees are paid the week after exchange on purchases and the week after completion on remortgages.
The company is led by industry veterans Harpal Singh (pictured) and John Phillips, who return to the conveyancing market after a five-year hiatus. Both executives previously played key roles at Conveyancing Alliance and later launched the Broker Conveyancing brand, which they sold in 2016 before stepping down from the board in 2019.
“The panel management conveyancing model for introducers hasn’t changed since we’ve been gone,” Singh said. “But what has changed is a steady increase in panel fees and a lack of transparency as panels have sought to increase their margins.
“Our model, which embraces market leading technology, seeks to revolutionise this status quo. By understanding exactly what intermediaries want, we feel we have created a solution that leads the market in terms of pricing, technology, service, and support.”
