He will be supporting brokers in the London and South East region
Specialist lender Alternative Bridging Corporation has added another internal business development manager to its growing sales team, with the appointment of Michael Halsey (pictured).
Halsey joins Alternative Bridging following eight years in the lending industry. His previous experience includes the role of lending account manager and BDM roles at West One Loans, as well as roles at First Union Mortgages and Enterprise Finance.
Halsey will work as the internal business development manager for London and South East at Alternative Bridging, where he will report directly to head of sales for London and South East, Phodis Maratheftis. As internal BDM, Halsey will be responsible for linking brokers in London and the South East region to the right solutions for their bridging, commercial, and development finance needs.
“I’m delighted to welcome Michael to the team,” said Maratheftis of Halsey’s appointment. “He has a huge amount of experience within a fast-paced environment and, as such, he will be a valuable asset in helping us continue to deliver the exceptional standards service brokers have come to expect from Alternative Bridging.”
Halsey said he was pleased to join an organisation with “a strong brand” and reputation in the lending market.
“I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the team to provide brokers with the certainty and consistency they need in the current environment,” he commented.
Halsey’s recruitment as internal BDM is the latest in a series of movements within Alternative Bridging Corporation’s sales team. Last month, the firm announced the promotion of Sam Bailey from internal BDM to business development manager for the Midlands. Before that, one of the team’s business development managers, Paul Gavin, was promoted to head of sales for Alternative Bridging’s northern division.
