He has over 24 years of experience in property finance
Specialist finance lender Mint Property Finance has announced that Steve Smith (pictured) has joined the business as its new head of sales.
Smith is bringing over 24 years of property finance expertise to the lender, with a career that started at the Bank of Scotland in 1997. There, he attained a breadth of experience in mainstream banking, before becoming a professional broker – a role he held for seven years. He also specialised in property finance, with roles that included several senior positions at lenders over the course of seven years.
In his new role as head of sales at Mint Property Finance, he will be responsible for leading and growing the business’s national sales team.
“We are delighted to welcome Steve to the team,” Paul Wertheim, finance operations director at Mint Property Finance, said. “He brings with him tremendous expertise, and we are confident he will play a significant role in helping us achieve our plans for continued national growth.”
Commenting on his appointment, Smith said he was delighted and proud to join the Mint Property Finance team.
“Their reputation as an innovative and forward-thinking company precedes them, and I look forward to playing my part in their continued growth,” he stated.
The Cheshire-based specialist lender, formerly known as Mint Bridging, said it has enjoyed near sustained year-on-year growth since inception in 2011 and, just last month, reported its highest number of enquiries on record.
