Major recruitment drive comes on the heels of securing key partnership deals

Sixty new hires boosts company's workforce

Manchester-based insurtech Uinsure has added 60 new team members following the signing of several major partnership agreements.

The company’s technology, which provides access to a panel of the UK’s top insurers through a streamlined platform, was a key factor in winning these deals.

In recent years, Uinsure has made significant investments in its technology capabilities, including new API integrations, enhancements to its customer experience, and the development of a new pricing engine. These innovations have enabled the company to offer disruptive, award-winning, digital-first insurance solutions.

Over the past two years, Uinsure has won 12 prestigious industry awards for its UinsureCX product, which tracks an individual’s mortgage progress and triggers timely communications at key points in the mortgage cycle. The company was also named GI / Protection Provider of the Year in last year’s Mortgage Introducer Awards.

“To win these prestigious partnership accounts, particularly in a highly competitive environment, is a tremendous endorsement of the strength of our proposition,” said Lauren Bagley (pictured), chief distribution officer at Uinsure. “The fact some of the UK’s leading banks, building societies and financial intermediaries have chosen Uinsure demonstrates how highly the industry values the technology and customer experience we’ve developed.

“An expanded scale will only help in securing more competitive premiums for all our partners’ customers, which is another thing we’re working relentlessly on.”

The company’s recent growth comes partly in response to RSA’s exit from the UK home insurance market. Uinsure plans to use its expanded scale to negotiate more competitive premiums for customers, according to Bagley. With several new partnerships secured, Uinsure is focused on optimising these relationships, the latest of which is with Integra Insurance Solutions, a specialist in the home insurance market.

“We’re busier than ever with onboarding new partners,” Bagley added. “Many organisations are looking for end-to-end insurance solutions that offer a digital-first experience. We’re committed to supporting our growing network and delivering exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint.”
