“Lesley has considerable experience working in the financial services industry, both at a board level and across board subcommittees,” Charles Haresnape, chief executive at Gatehouse Bank, stated in a post announcing the appointment. “Her expertise in driving information, transformation, and technology programs across multiple locations and cultures will make her a fantastic asset to our growing bank.
“I am very pleased to welcome Lesley onboard and am looking forward to working closely with her and our other board members to inform and shape the bank’s future strategy.”
Commenting on her appointment, Beecher said she was “drawn to Gatehouse Bank as it’s an ambitious Shariah-compliant challenger bank” – something that “really appeals” to her.
“As the bank continues to grow and evolve, I’m looking forward to drawing upon my background and experience to help shape Gatehouse’s direction and contribute right across the organisation,” she added.
