Users of the mortgage and protection platform gain free use of Legal & General Ignite
Legal & General Mortgage Services has announced the full integration of its mortgage research and product sourcing platform, Legal & General Ignite, with end-to-end mortgage and protection platform Smartr365.
As a result of the new extended partnership, users of Smartr365 gain free access to Legal & General Ignite, enabling them to prepopulate their searches with existing data.
In addition, Legal & General Ignite will provide Smartr365 users with a complete sourcing solution which encapsulates criteria, an integrated affordability calculator, product sourcing, and property-checking tools.
Search results and documents generated in Legal & General Ignite will also be available to view on the Smartr365 platform, providing advisers with access to a single source when advising their clients.
To explain how the integration will support advisers, Joe Wilson, key relationship manager at Legal & General Mortgage Services, and Alex McCallum, sales executive at Smartr365, will host a free webinar on Tuesday, November 21.
“The partnering of Smartr365 with our recently refreshed mortgage research and sourcing platform, Legal & General Ignite, marks another important step towards a fully streamlined mortgage journey as well as the continued evolution of our flagship tool,” commented Jodie White (pictured), head of product and transformation at Legal & General Technology.
“With the help of Legal & General Ignite, advisers using Smartr365 will not only be able to focus more of their time on providing bespoke, quality advice to their clients, but it will also ensure they are reaching the best possible customer outcomes.”
Conor Murphy, chief executive and founder at Smartr365, added that their longstanding partnership with Legal & General is testament to the growing appetite for innovation and digitisation within the UK mortgage market.
“Smartr365 is already the platform of choice for just shy of 4,000 brokers in the UK, and partnerships such as this are driving further market adoption,” Murphy said. “The mortgage market is excited about the benefits that good technology tools bring, and we are equally thrilled to provide them.
“Digitisation is key to unlocking the next stage of the mortgage market through heightened efficiency and improved customer satisfaction. This is another significant step in our partnership, with further exciting news to follow in the not-so-distant future.”
