Both held senior positions at OneSavings Bank, where they worked for over a decade
Specialist lender Aspen Bridging has announced the appointments of Stephen Hickman (pictured right) as senior risk assessor and Kyle Taylor (pictured left) as recoveries manager.
Hickman will oversee the review of all loan applications and the assessment of works cases from their initiation to completion, as part of the company’s risk management strategy, while Taylor is set to lead the recoveries department, utilising his experience to update and improve Aspen’s processes to ensure they are effective and beneficial for customers.
Both Hickman and Taylor previously held senior positions at OneSavings Bank, where they worked for over a decade. Hickman’s role was as a bridging senior specialist underwriter, and Taylor served as senior bridging recoveries manager.
The appointments, the lender said, are part of its strategy to strengthen its team, following the earlier additions of Ian Miller-Hawes as sales director and Mike Allen as business development manager. The company has also promoted staff across its risk, underwriting, and credit departments.
In addition to personnel changes, Aspen Bridging unveiled a new logo and updated its website, aligning with the lender’s ambition to achieve £1 billion in total lending in the coming years.
“The appointments, promotions and changes we’ve made this year will have a significant positive impact on our growth trajectory,” said Jack Coombs, managing director at Aspen Bridging.
“Stephen and Kyle bring a huge wealth of experience in their respective specialities, and I’m sure they will both play a big part in our story going forwards at this critical time in our company’s growth journey.”
