Lender has seen its total lending double over the past two years
Black & White Bridging, a specialist bridging lender, announced the opening of two new offices in London and Manchester this week, marking a significant expansion from its base near Bath. This development triples the company’s total number of locations and enhances its accessibility to brokers, borrowers, investors, and business partners across the UK.
A news release highlighted that the new offices are strategically positioned to strengthen Black & White’s presence in the North and Southeast of England, supporting existing team members in those areas. The expansion aims to attract a broader talent pool as the company sets its sights on doubling its size by the end of 2025. Over the past two years, Black & White has already seen its total lending double, indicating robust growth within the bridging finance sector.
This announcement follows the recent establishment of a new funding line exceeding £100 million, which has increased Black & White’s maximum loan size to £7.5 million, up from £2.5 million. The lender has also implemented lower interest rates and introduced variable procuration fees, allowing intermediaries to determine their earnings and adjust interest rates for their clients accordingly.
Black & White Bridging operates exclusively through intermediaries, distinguishing itself with a commitment to excellent service and complete transparency, which eliminates any uncertainties for brokers securing loans for their clients.
Martyn Smith (pictured), managing director at Black & White, expressed enthusiasm about the new locations. “These new offices have been planned for some time as part of our ambitious growth plans, so I am excited to see them finally come to fruition,” he said. “The new offices will help us reach even more brokers, partners, and investors and attract new team members nationwide while enabling the acceleration of our next growth phase.”
Founded in April 2021, Black & White Bridging is a specialist short-term lender that offers brokers a transparent service with fast, binding lending decisions. As a market disruptor, it aims to enhance broker service through high visibility and is focused on developing its facilities within the intermediary market to become a leading fintech company.
