It is now forging partnerships and developing relationships with brokers there
Specialist lender Bridging Finance Solutions (BFS) has announced plans to expand into Scotland as part of its ongoing development.
The Wirral-based firm, whose growth has averaged a rate of 30% for the past five consecutive years, said it is now forging partnerships and developing relationships with brokers to offer short-term property finance, in preparation for its entry into the Scottish market.
Since launch, BFS has widened its scope from a predominately North West lender to a national one, with the latest expansion plan considered by the business as “a natural evolution for the company.”
“A move into Scotland feels like the next natural step for us in terms of geographical expansion,” Steve Barber (pictured), managing director at Bridging Finance Solutions, stated in an article posted on its website. “We now have the BDM and underwriting resources to expand confidently into Scotland and continue to deliver the excellence of service for which we are known in England and Wales.”
Barber added that, initially, BFS will offer bridging only rather than development finance, while the lender gains a better understanding of the new market and its needs.
“Our remit now is to raise awareness of our products, forge alliances with local brokers, and continue to educate the wider marketplace on the diverse ways bridging can be accessed and used efficiently,” he said.
