The seminar - held last week at the firm’s headquarters in Watford and hosted by national sales manager Gareth Lewis - explored the key issues relating to bridging finance, including what lenders are looking for from brokers when assessing and processing cases. It also suggested to those attending that they might make up for lost mortgage income by maximising sales in bridging.
Commenting, Lewis said: “The seminar was very much a two-way exchange of information. We set out not only the opportunities that bridging loans offer to both brokers and their customers, but also why certain information is asked for and why loans have to be structured in certain ways. For their part, those who attended were keen to run scenarios past me and we enjoyed a healthy debate in a very constructive atmosphere.”
