He is tasked with looking after brokers in the South Wales and M4 Corridor territory
Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has appointed Herbie Bone (pictured) as a business development manager (BDM) within its bridging division.
Bone, who has over three years of experience in the financial services industry, joins HTB from Monmouthshire Building Society, where he was the commercial relationship manager.
In his new role, Herbie will be responsible for looking after intermediaries in the South Wales and M4 Corridor territory. He will also keep brokers up to date on the latest HTB products, processes, and provide feedback on lending decisions, including the issuing of terms.
“I am delighted to be joining HTB at such an exciting time during the relaunch of its bridging proposition,” Bone said. “Representing a very strong brand, coupled with working alongside colleagues with established reputations, further enhances the likelihood of our success within the bridging space.
“There are some exceptional broker firms within South Wales and the M4 Corridor that I am excited to work with in order to maximise the opportunities for all parties involved. I am particularly looking forward to enhancing the HTB bridging proposition within my area through education on our systems, processes, and being accessible to my brokers.”
Lorenzo Satchell, bridging finance head of sales at Hampshire Trust Bank, welcomed the addition of Bone to the bridging team at Hampshire Trust Bank.
“A native of South Wales and with business development experience in the region, he’s ideally positioned to support his brokers with their bridging applications,” Satchell said. “Our bridging team is going from strength to strength as we aim to increase our market share this year; brokers will find our product and service proposition to be stronger than ever.”
HTB also recently appointed Alex McMillen as bridging finance BDM for London and the Home Counties.
