Masthaven, which recently announced a new funding line for its second charge division, Masthaven Secured Loans, is keen to recruit new staff members across the short-term and secured loan businesses in order to consolidate and promote the continued growth of the company.
The recent promotions of Krystle Clarke to senior underwriter and Alex Fern to underwriter at MSL, underline the importance Masthaven’s management places on recruiting, mentoring and promoting talent from within the company.
Masthaven’s immediate need is to fill three new underwriting roles within MSL for an underwriting manager, underwriter and underwriting assistant as well as two roles within the bridging unit for a trainee underwriting assistant and an administrator, and an assistant servicing and collections adviser.
Andrew Bloom, managing director of Masthaven Finance, said: “We are keen to take on people who can focus on helping the company grow and succeed. In return, we look after our staff members and our philosophy is to always promote from within as can be demonstrated by the two promotions we have already made this month.
“Although we are looking for people who have experience for certain roles, we are also looking to grow the next generation of underwriters and administrators and the most important quality we are looking for is a desire to be the very best.”
