Lender adds new business development manager to its London team
Sancus, a specialist property bridging and development lender, has appointed Clare Cuff (pictured) to its London-based team as business development manager.
The lender has expanded significantly since a change in senior management in 2021 as it implements an aggressive growth strategy across the UK and Ireland.
With a wide range of experience and proven track record in business development and relationship management, Cuff is joining the company as the seventh recruit to its UK sales team in the last 12 months. Her expertise is in identifying new business opportunities and managing and delivering property finance.
She started her career with Barclays Bank, where she progressed to premier banking relationship manager over 12 years with the company. Her responsibilities included building key relationships with clients and providing solutions to complex financial situations while building a portfolio of business, specialising in mortgages and lending.
She then moved to Together as regional development director where she built her own network of professional introducers, supporting them with secured property lending, including residential and development finance.
Cuff said she is looking forward to being part of the growth journey at Sancus.
“Sancus has some fantastic products which I am looking forward to being able to offer to my network,” she said.
Richard Whitehouse, Sancus’ sales director for the UK, noted that they are delighted that Clare has joined their team in London.
“A key strategy in our growth has been appointing property finance specialists with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a wide network of contacts, Clare will fit in well. We have recruited some very talented, knowledgeable individuals over the last year, Clare being the most recent addition, we are all really looking forward to working with her,” he said.
