Specialist lender Lendco has hired Simon Chapman (pictured) as relationship director with a view to developing its bridging proposition.
Chapman was previously with Investec Private Bank, Commercial Acceptances and Amicus Property Finance, where he specialised in finding bespoke funding solutions for short-term property finance.
Chapman said: “I am delighted to join the Lendco team. They have ambitious plans and are backed by well-respected investors. They have made significant progress in a short space of time and I look forward to helping them shape their bridging and distribution proposition.”
Simon Knight, managing director of Lendco, added: “We are extremely pleased that Simon is joining us. He has plenty of experience and will shape the strategy for our bridging business, and distribution generally. We have achieved a lot in less than a year, and Simon’s appointment signals our ambition within the bridging and specialist lending market.”
Lendco launched last year, offering specialist buy-to-let and bridging finance products, and has kept distribution tight with a limited number of introducers on its panel.
