It adds a packaging team leader and processor
Specialist finance broker The Loans Engine has expanded its packaging team by adding a team leader and processor.
Jodi Walker, who has 17 years of financial services experience, has taken the newly created role of B&C packaging team leader. Much of her work has been with The Loans Engine and its sister companies within the Norfolk Capital group, including various leadership roles.
For the role of B&C packager, Walker has also recruited her newest team member Abbie Knight, who joins the team from a specialist mortgage brokerage.
Luke O’Sullivan, head of bridging and commercial mortgages at The Loans Engine, looks forward to working closely with Walker in expanding its packaging team and scaling up for the company’s growth expectations in the second quarter of 2022.
“Jodi’s experience of underwriting and packaging across a range of specialist finance products make her a fantastic addition to our team,” he said.
“Demand for our bridging and commercial products has increased significantly in the first quarter of 2022. Expanding our team is therefore critical to ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional client outcomes.”
He said that as The Loans Engine has clear and ambitious growth plans for 2022, more recruits can be expected throughout the year.
“Across our regulated and unregulated mortgage offerings, we expect to be in a process of continual recruitment throughout 2022,” he shared. “We are seeing increased demand from new and existing brokers for our services, and so we will be recruiting to maintain the highest standard of service and availability for brokers and clients alike.”
