Richard Adams from Stonebridge Group won The Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Mortgage Introducer Awards took place at the Tower of London last night, where 26 awards were handed out to the industry’s finest.
Mortgage Advice Bureau was a big winner, taking home three prizes including Mortgage Introducer of The Year, while Richard Adams from Stonebridge Group won The Lifetime Achievement Award.
Precise Mortgages scooped two awards in Specialist Lender of the Year and Bridging Lender of the Year, while Coreco won Best London Broker and Best Broker of the Year (less than 40 advisers).
The industry also used the occasion to pay tribute to mortgage legend Pete Thomson.
There were some kind words from Jason Berry, director of sales at Uinsure and Peter Izard, business development manager at Investec Private Bank, blew a whistle to signal the audience to stand up and applaud in remembrance.
The charity for the event was Mortgage Sleep Out, with many in the industry such as Assetz Capital and Barclays participating this Friday 30.
