Aileen Lees, head of policy at the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, has left the trade body.
Lees is now looking for a new role.
She joined AMI in 2015 from MoneySavingExpert.com, where she was external affairs and campaigns officer. Before that she worked at accountancy firm Grant Thornton UK LLP and consultancy company Barnett Waddingham.
Lees said: “I’m sorry to say that after over four years I have decided to move on from AMI, and am currently looking for a new opportunity.”
AMI chief executive Robert Sinclair and chairman Martin Reynolds were unavailable for comment.
