Young has held a glittering career in financial services, having worked for The Business Mortgage Company for the past 10 years and previously worked for Sesame and Allied Dunbar (now Openwork).
Replacing Andy will be Jane Simpson, who is to be appointed as managing director from December 1.
Simpson is currently head of sales and operations at TBMC, where she has worked for the past 10 years.
Young said: “After having worked 40 years in the financial services market I feel the time is right to ‘hang up my work pen’ and retire.
“I have worked at three great Businesses throughout my career, had some great fun and made many friends along the way.
“It is also very reassuring that I am passing over the running of the business to Jane Simpson, whom I know will take TBMC from strength to strength.”
