CA Ventures has hired Tim Phillips as head of residential Europe.

CA Ventures enters UK BTR market

Real estate investment company CA Ventures has entered the Build to Rent (BTR) sector in the UK.

Tim Phillips has been appointed as head of residential Europe.

Based in London, Phillips will be responsible for the development of BTR and private rented sector (PRS) assets across the UK.

Phillips has over 14 years’ experience in the real estate industry, most recently as a director at Lothbury Investment Management.

CA Ventures said it will initially invest in the development of £200m in BTR and PRS assets in Europe per annum, ramping up to £380m by 2025.

The move follows CA Ventures’ launch into the European PBSA market, where the company is currently executing £500m of development.

This includes three developments under construction in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Sheffield.
