Last month Bradley Moore was promoted to managing director while William Lloyd was appointed as director.
Brightstar Financial has appointed Gina Blagden as head of residential mortgages.
Blagden has been with the company since September 2012 as a mortgage consultant and worked her way up the business.
She has a wealth of experience in the mortgage industry having worked at a variety of specialist lenders and distributors including Kent Reliance Building Society, Beacon Home Loans, Global Home Loans and Swift Advances.
Blagden said: “I’m really excited at what my new role as head of residential mortgages will bring in the year ahead.
“I love a new challenge and can’t wait to drive the Brightstar residential mortgage division forward.”
Brightstar chief executive Rob Jupp (pictured) said: “Gina has been with our business almost five years and is a role model in so many ways.
“We are very excited about seeing some of her passion, enthusiasm and ideas come through in the months ahead. I wish her the best of luck.”
Brightstar is focusing the business on the modern era. Earlier this month, it established a new specialist buy-to-let division to better serve clients after recent market changes.
The firm recently split the current mortgage division into complex buy-to-let mortgages and specialist residential mortgages. The new buy-to-let division is being incorporated with the residential investment team from the commercial division.
The firm is already on course to smash through £1bn of specialist lending completions this year.
Jupp added: “With larger offices for our Sirius Team and exciting developments planned for EasySource it’s safe to say 2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the business.”
