The appointment follows a string of strategic hires within LendInvest’s business development function, including four new BDMs based outside of London.
LendInvest has appointed Ian Boden, ex-Aldermore Bank head of commercial mortgages, as sales director.
Boden joins LendInvest with over 35 years’ experience in financial services, specialising in buy-to-let and commercial mortgages. During his career he has held a variety of roles from wealth management and customer relationship management to senior management positions.
Most recently, he was head of commercial mortgages and portfolio management at Aldermore Bank, where he spent five years. Previously, he was local director and head of mortgages at Lloyds Bank for their Northern England network, and was a regional premier manager for HSBC, among other roles. He also holds an advanced diploma in Financial Planning (AFPC) from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

It’s great to have someone of Ian’s calibre joining us to lead that team. Bringing years of sector experience with him, Ian has a unique skill set that makes me confident he is the right man to be driving our business into new areas, both regionally and from a product perspective.“
