The app which is free to download and available for both iPhones and iPads was designed and developed in response to feedback from brokers who were looking for an “on the go” solution.
Steve Olejnik, head of sales at Mortgages for Business, said: “It’s a slick piece of kit which is especially helpful when I’m out and about meeting clients.
“The rate finder lets me search by a number of variables including borrower and property type. And when I’ve found a suitable rate, the app will create an instant and very detailed mortgage illustration that is ready to email to the client.
“It will definitely speed up the time it takes to get a client on board.”
Independent broker, James Scoular, tested the app and said: “The new app is very easy to use, with a quick response time and good design.
“I particularly like that it identifies exactly why a mortgage may not fit my clients requirements so that I can discuss the options with them there and then, rather than having to make lengthy recalculations.”
The app is available for download from the App Store or via the iTunes
