Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) has opened registrations for its London Expo, to be held at the Business Design Centre in Islington on 20 October.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, delegates will have the choice of attending in the morning or afternoon and this will help to observe any prevailing social distancing guidelines and the safety of visitors.
The London Expo will host a full schedule of CPD seminars and panel debates featuring leading industry experts. They will provide insight to the latest topics affecting the mortgage, property finance and later life lending markets as well as the overall economic outlook.
However, for the London show, the same set of seminars will run in the morning and afternoon to further assist with keeping delegates safe and to ensure that whichever session they choose delegates get the opportunity to listen to the same speeches and insights about the lending sectors.
The Business Design Centre has put in place a number of measures to keep delegates safe as a result of the COVID-19 including the installation of hand sanitisers and thermal imaging cameras to check for a high temperature as delegates arrive. There will also be a one-way system in operation and the venue will be cleaned during the day.
Mike Mikunda from MBE said: “We’re delighted to see many lenders returning to the market and we look forward to welcoming them to MBE London.
"It’s been a difficult time for everyone in the various lending sectors but we are seeing the green shoots of recovery with more new products being launched and business being written.
“There will be a comprehensive seminar programme too with same programme running in the morning and afternoon so nobody misses out.
"We’ll have industry experts giving their views on the current and future trends in the various finance markets to help brokers be better informed.
“The new London venue is an impressive location for this very popular event and will be an excellent environment for brokers, IFAs and introducers to talk directly with lenders and service providers about their latest products.
"We have the big names in the specialist and mainstream finance and mortgage sectors exhibiting at the show making it a fantastic opportunity to talk business. I’m looking forward to a successful MBE Expo in London.”
