The service allows brokers to submit applications online for single or multiple properties and receive immediate lending decisions.
John Heron, managing director of Paragon Mortgages, said the service was “genuinely innovative”.
He said: “Online applications have been around for years for straightforward buy-to-let applications but the complexity of professional landlord cases has meant that an online solution for these customers has been a long time coming.”
Heron said he wants to make it as easy as possible for intermediaries to submit applications especially for complex cases, such as houses of multiple occupancy, which traditionally take much longer to get a lending decision on.
He added: “This is a big step forward in an area that has not seen much benefit from the technology that is now available. We are committed to developing this and other solutions for our business partners so that the whole process is faster and more certain.”
