Penrith Building Society has joined Legal & General Mortgage Club’s panel.
Initiatives such as joint borrower/sole proprietor, guarantor buy-to-let, holiday let and retirement interest-only, will be available to selected L&G Mortgage Club partners. This brings the total number of lenders on the Mortgage Club panel to over 90.
Michelle Stevens, retail operations and distribution executive, Penrith Building Society, said: “We are delighted to join the Legal & General Mortgage Club panel.
“We are confident that we will be providing access to criteria and products that will be of considerable interest to their members over the years to come. We are very much looking forward to working with such a highly regarded partner.”
Danny Belton, head of lender relationships, Legal & General Mortgage Club adds:“The use of regional building societies has grown through 2018, as they provide great lending options for clients that need something different and a more human approach to underwriting.
“Although Penrith Building Society may be small, they have still found niche areas where they can truly add benefit for our members.”
