Annually rental growth has slowed to an average of 0.9% across the UK, with the highest growing areas being the East Midlands (3.6%), Northern Ireland (3.4%) and the West Midlands (2.9%).
The only area seeing rents fall annually was the South East (-0.8%).
The data is based on the cost of new tenancies agreed.
