Mansfield Building Society will adopt KFI+ documentation and offer consumer buy-to-let mortgages when the Mortgage Credit Directive comes into force on 21 March.
The society said it will work with brokers and customers to reduce disruption in February, while it will issue binding offers with a 10 day reflection period which customers can opt out of by completing and returning them.
David Charlton, Mortgage Credit Directive project manager, said: “We have already made great strides in assessing the needs of the new regulatory environment and are on course to implement the necessary changes ahead of the 21 March deadline. We’re now giving our brokers notice of what key changes they can start to expect.
"We’ve added supporting information for brokers on our website."
