Together has been named ‘Best Buy-to-Let Mortgage Provider’ at the Property Wire Awards – for the second year in a row.
The awards, from the global property news service, celebrate excellence and recognise the current and future champions of the industry; focusing on leaders who are shaping the evolving buy-to-let sector.
The awards were presented last week at the exclusive Eight Members Club in Moorgate, London, which were attended by property expert Martin Roberts from the popular BBC property auction show Homes under the Hammer. It is the second time in as many years that Together has won the award for top buy-to-let lender.
Marc Goldberg, Together’s commercial CEO, said: “It is an amazing achievement to have won this award two years in a row, and we believe this acknowledges the strength of our buy-to-let offering.
“Buy-to-let has faced a number of challenges over the past few years, including the stamp duty hike and cuts to mortgage tax relief, and, in response, we have lowered our rates and simplified our products to make it as easy as possible for landlords to take the various market changes in their stride.
“This award also highlights the tremendous efforts of our colleagues, whose extensive knowledge and expertise is a major factor in ensuring we can consistently deliver the best outcome for our customers, even in very complex cases.”
This month, Together lowered the rates on its range of buy-to-let mortgages and simplified its process for brokers when submitting portfolio landlord cases, in response to market demand.
