The events are intended to provide equity release advisers and brokers looking to enter the sector with an opportunity to discuss a whole range of issues surrounding the market in an informal setting.
Peter Welch, head of sales and distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, said: “In March we will be in the East Midlands, Scotland and South West and hope the adviser communities in those areas will be interested in attending our events.
“We always stress that the events are open to those who are already active in the equity release sector but also those considering their involvement. Equity release is a specialist market and we believe our forums can provide a level of information and support to those who are yet to offer this type of advisory service.
“Plus it is an opportunity to meet with those who are already doing the job to see how they go about their business and the key areas to be aware of. Bridgewater staff will also be on hand to offer guidance about the overall market but in particular the home reversion sector which can be misunderstood or overlooked by some advisers.”
