He is expected to help propel the business's technology offering
Later life broker Equity Release Supermarket (ERS) has announced the appointment of Richard Brook (pictured) as new chief marketing officer.
Prior to joining ERS, Brook held marketing and leadership positions. He previously worked at Key Group as head of distribution marketing, where he was instrumental in the creation of strategic partnerships. He was also the head of marketing and communications at Tenet Group.
According to Mark Gregory, founder and chief executive at Equity Release Supermarket, Brook is joining the company at a particularly exciting time for ERS, which launched the smartER digital solution last year.
“The pandemic accelerated the role of technology in the equity release sector and so innovations, such as smartER, to support the essential step of seeking regulated financial advice, personalised to people’s circumstances became even more crucial,” Gregory said.
“Richard now joins us to accelerate this digital ambition. He will be working across the B2B and B2C framework, reaching and building relationships with aggregators, partners, and affiliates to drive the unique technology we have created in order to empower our customers.”
Commenting on his appointment, Brook said it is a privilege to join the Equity Release Supermarket team as he has seen the firm’s growth journey over the past few years.
“My focus now is to showcase the fantastic products and services we have created to a far wider audience. The choice, transparency, trust, and interaction customers can experience with Equity Release Supermarket is second to none, and unlike any other company in the equity release sector,” he stated.
“I’m delighted to be part of this exceptional team and look forward to building on the firm’s incredible reputation as digital and tech pioneers.”
