ERSA now has eight members, including Equilaw Ltd, Ashfords LLP, Gwyn James, Goldsmith Williams, Birchall Blackburn LLP, Blacks LLP and Scotland-based Caesar & Howie.
The Alliance was formed to promote the importance of specialist legal advice within equity release and each member has committed to a 12-point Charter which guarantees the best legal advice to consumers buying equity release products.
Gordon Brown Associates has within the last two years set up a dedicated team which completes over 50 equity release cases per month.
The firm has offices in Chester Le Street, Low Fell, Houghton Le spring, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and Sunderland.
Claire Barker, chairman of ERSA welcomed the addition of Gordon Brown Associates to the alliance.
