They launch a new equity release advice service
Comparison platform Moneyfacts has launched a new equity release service in partnership with broker Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) Later Life.
Visitors to Moneyfacts’ website who want to know more about equity release can now access the advisers at MAB Later Life, in an agreement announced on Wednesday by the two firms.
Under this agreement, MAB Later Life will provide an equity release advice service, through which customers can get more information on whether they need equity release or an alternative option. If equity release is suitable, MAB Later Life will recommend products to the customer.

“We are delighted that Moneyfacts has chosen Mortgage Advice Bureau Later Life to provide equity release advice services to their customers,” Steve Humphries, proposition director at MAB Later Life, commented. “To be selected by an organisation which has an outstanding reputation within the industry for providing independent, impartial advice via their website is a strong endorsement of our reputation and service quality.”
Richard Ward, head of sales and marketing at Moneyfacts, said they, too, are delighted to announce Mortgage Advice Bureau Later Life as their provider for equity release services.
“This new link to Mortgage Advice Bureau Later Life is especially important as a significant proportion of our site visitors are the over-50s looking to get the best financial outcome, including from their property,” Ward added.
