The Right DA Club has announced a new partnership with Air, a platform for later life lending professionals, to enhance its equity release and later life lending offering for member firms.

Under the partnership, The Right DA Club will offer its equity release and later life lending advice firms several benefits from Air’s platform.

These benefits include Platinum membership of the Air Academy, which provides training programmes accredited by the London Institute of Banking and Finance, access to Air Sourcing for real-time product sourcing, and enhanced commission opportunities via the Air Select Panel. Members will also have access to Air’s helpdesk for support and a dedicated account manager to assist with sector queries.

In addition, The Right DA Club will help advisers secure competent adviser status in equity release, offering services such as updating the FCA register, file reviews, and practical training.

Chelsea Kiefert (pictured left), head of The Right DA Club, said the later life lending market, including equity release, is expected to grow in the coming years, and advisers are increasingly seeking to provide holistic advice across a range of products.

“It makes sense to partner with the specialist in this sector, and we have secured Ambassador status with Air in order to provide our firms and their advisers with access to the array of excellent services and products within its proposition,” Kiefert added.

Paul Glynn (pictured right), chief executive of Air, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that many advisory firms are expanding their later life lending services to meet the needs of older borrowers.

“At Air, we are set up to facilitate all of this and then some, and to ensure firms and their individual advisers have everything they need in one place to develop and grow their later life lending advice proposition,” Glynn said.
