The FCA campaign will encourage eligible customers to claim before the August 2019 deadline.
The Financial Conduct Authority’s consumer campaign on Payment Protection Insurance is expected to take place in early autumn, its chief executive Andrew Bailey signalled yesterday.
The FCA campaign will encourage eligible customers to claim before the August 2019 deadline.
Bailey, who was speaking at the regulator’s annual public meeting, said: “I expect that in early autumn we willlaunch out consumer campaign on PPI.
“That’s designed to heighten awareness of how people should make claims for those who still need to do so as we move, as we hope and expect, into the last two years of the PPI process.”
The campaign is expected to cost £42m.
