Furlong joins the Bank of Ireland from Clydesdale Bank where he worked as business development manager from 2007.
The Bank of Ireland UK has appointed Mike Furlong to its mortgage team as business development manager, North East.
Furlong has more than three decades’ experience, and his appointment aims to help strengthen the bank’s relationships with intermediary mortgage providers.
Furlong joins the Bank of Ireland from Clydesdale Bank where he worked as business development manager from 2007.
Iain Smith, head of intermediaries at Bank of Ireland UK, said: "I'm delighted to have someone with Mike's experience and passion join our team, especially as we continue to support the mortgage intermediary market and be there for them during these unprecedented times."
