Both Wiles and Cooke will report to Iain Smith, head of intermediaries at the bank.
The Bank of Ireland UK has made two internal promotions within its mortgage sales team.
Lauren Wiles and Andy Cooke move from business development managers to become national account managers to help build the bank’s growing relationships with intermediary mortgage distributors.
Prior to joining Bank of Ireland in early 2019, Wiles worked as a broker with Mortgage Advice Bureau.
Cooke has more than 25 years of experience in financial services including time as a financial adviser and as a self-employed mortgage adviser.
Both Wiles and Cooke will report to Iain Smith, head of intermediaries at the bank.
Smith said: “Both Andy and Lauren have done a terrific job in recent years, and I’m delighted we can support their career development.
"Our distribution continues to grow as the mortgage market evolves.
"Feedback from our partners continues to be positive, and the Bank of Ireland UK team will continue to support our wider network of brokers and these hires will help strengthen that support.”
Wiles added: “This is an exciting time to be in the business and to take up this new role.
"Our distribution has grown so I look forward to the opportunities to build closer relationships with intermediaries.”
Cooke said:“There’s growing demand for support across areas such as complex incomes and the self-employed market.
"I’m looking forward to stepping up to support the business and our presence among intermediaries.”
